About Us
Ed Woodyard has more than 35 years of experience in marketing and corporate communications. An award-winning journalist and former screenwriter, Ed has worked in publishing, promotion, public relations and new product introduction in New York City, representing dozens of clients from industrial and consumer products to professional and personal services. He holds professional memberships in editorial and educational groups and was awarded a bachelors degree from the esteemed University of Missouri School of Journalism and a graduate degree from California Institute of the Arts. With additional studies at UCLA and Yale, he has been honored for his humanitarian service in his hometown as well as on a state level.
Ed began his college admissions consultancy in 1998 from which evolved his company, CollegeAdvice, in January 2002. It has since grown from being locally based in Westchester County, New York and the New York City metropolitan area into a national and international enterprise.
